The Company - The Founder
Rita Neri Event Planners (RNEP) was conceptualized and founded by Rita M. Neri, a nationally renowned professional coordinator for weddings, social and corporate events. Rita has over 20 years experience in Special Events Management. She is a graduate of the College of the Assumption, with degrees in Bachelor of Arts (AB) and Bachelor of Education (BSE).
As a planner/coordinator, Rita continues to be sought after not only locally but also internationally. She opened “The Wedding Store”, her first retail store in Ayala Malls in the early 1990s. For the past 18 years, the company has since evolved, adding to its portfolio the following: the first bridal symposium attended by engaged couples with the purpose of preparing them for their wedding; two best-selling, first-of-its- kind books entitled “The Essential Wedding Workbook for the Filipina Bride, volumes I and II”; various workshops and seminars to help professionalize wedding and event planning business, and, last but not the least, spearheading the first Department of Tourism-sponsored Philippine Wedding Destination participation in North American bridal fairs.
